You can bring Jennifer Love Hewitt and her horses home on DVD this September. Ghost Whisperer: The Complete Third Season will be released on DVD on September 2. We don’t have any special features or pricing details on this five-disc set, but it will contain all 18 episodes from the season. The series stars Jennifer Love Hewitt, Camryn Manheim and Jay Mohr. Warner Bros. is showing a strong start to the First Quarter of 2007. On January 16 consumers will start the New Year off with three new high definition titles from Warner Home Video. GoodFellas will be debuting on Blu-ray Disc while Poseidon debuts on HD DVD and Scooby Doo: The Movie will be making its simultaneous debut on HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc. Director Guillermo del Toro is well aware of all the rumors circulating around his new film The Hobbit, and now he’s put the rumors to rest. The director spoke out on TheOneRing.net’s message board forums, and revealed some new information like the film’s new director of photography - Guillermo Navarro - and that they are not aiming at filming The Hobbit in 3-D. Todd Haynes is known as a pioneer of the New Queer Cinema movement, and as such many of his films portray LGBTQ+ characters and focus on identity dilemmas, gender roles, and social problems. Haynes first attracted attention with using Barbie dolls as actors in his experimental 1987 film Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story. Since then, he made nine feature films. This creepy yet lovable family goes back a long way, dating from a comic from the 1930s that actually goes hand-in-hand with the casting of Netflix’s adaptation. Over time, there have been many TV and cinematic adaptations of the Addams’ quirky lifestyle, but this series’ rendition stands out in many ways....

The trailer starts out with a young man attending his grandmother’s funeral. We come to find out that she survived the Holocaust, only to be murdered years later. Then, Al Pacino’s character offers him a chance at revenge. We then get to the heart of the matter, which sees Pacino recruiting this man for his team of Nazi hunters, who operate in the shadows taking out, well, Nazis. The whole thing is violent, heavy and surprisingly amusing, despite its grizzly nature....

Image Comics is planning an animated TV series for its Rat Queens title, which will be produced by Weta Workshop, the folks behind the The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, alongside Pukeko Pictures and Heavy Metal productions. A dark comedy, Rat Queens revolves around four beer-swilling maidens fighting against a sword and scorcery landscape. There is the Rockabilly elven mage Hannah, hipster dwarf fighter Violet, atheist human cleric Dee and hippy smidgen thief Betty....

We’re getting closer and closer to Marvel’s The Avengers kicking off the summer movie season in just under two months on May 4, and as the cast and crew begin to do press for this superhero ensemble, new details are quickly coming forward. io9 is reporting that actor Jack Black and Hot Tub Time Machine director Steve Pink have optioned the Daniel H. Wilson novel How to Survive a Robot Uprising. The news comes on the heels that director Steven Spielberg is directing Robopocalypse for a 2013 release, which is another adaptation of a Daniel H. Wilson novel. How to Survive a Robot Uprising was first optioned by Mike Myers, with Reno 911! creators Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant adapting the screenplay....

Jack Champion spent over four and a half years filming Avatar: The Way of Water with director James Cameron. Champion, who plays the orphaned teen character Spider, says that the experience working with Cameron brought them close, especially since he was young when filming for The Way of Water began. Champion spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about his lengthy audition process, preparation for the role, and time spent on set....
