Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Letitia Wright says that she was left in shock and disbelief after learning of Chadwick Boseman’s death in 2020. Playing the brilliant younger sister to Boseman’s T’Challa (a.k.a. the titular superhero) in 2018’s Black Panther, Wright and Boseman had formed “deep familial bonds” while filming — more so than anyone else on set, according to director Ryan Coogler. So when Wright woke up to the news that Boseman had died of colon cancer at just 43 years old, the actress says her brain simply refused to accept the information as true—despite the influx of condolences and requests for a statement....

Twentieth Century Fox Television and Twentieth Century Fox Film have partnered with Glee creator Ryan Murphy to produce Glee Live! 3D!, a film of the blockbuster “Glee Live! The Jack O’ Lantern which had been featured on WhySoSerious.com, the viral marketing site for The Dark Knight, has gone away. In its’ place are instructions to fans, presumably from the Joker (Heath Ledger) himself. The Jack O’Lantern had its’ candle burn down over time, and one-half of the pumpkin had rotted away, looking suspiciously Two-Faced (Harvey Dent, a.k.a. Jackass 3D opened to record-breaking grosses last weekend, earning $50 million at the box office. That overwhelming success could now lead to the proposed DVD release Jackass 3.5 hitting theater screens instead of the home market in less than a few months. The Los Angeles Times reports that a decision from Paramount about what they will do with this extra footage is expected within the next few days. Johnny Knoxville has stated that there was enough footage for two movies....

USA Network has greenlit production on Camp Steve-O, a 30-minute reality pilot starring Steve-O of Jackass and Wildboyz fame, as he attempts to “de-wussify” the men of America with his own special brand of boot camp. The pilot is being produced in partnership with reality powerhouse Bunim-Murray Productions (The Real World, The Simple Life, Starting Over). “Talk about unique characters! Camp Steve-O will certainly bring something different to USA,” said Jeff Wachtel, USA’s executive vice president, original programming....

Jackie Earle Haley is certainly on the comeback trail in the film world. After his Oscar-nominated turn in Little Children, his first film in 13 years, Haley appeared as the legendary Rorschach in Watchmen and also has roles in two high-profile films out later this year, Martin Scorcese’s Shutter Island and the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, where Haley portrays another legendary character: Freddy Krueger. Even with all this newfound work in film, Haley has still managed to find time for the small screen, as he appears as Guerrero in the new Fox series Human Target, which will air tonight, January 26 on a special date and time at 9 PM ET on Fox, due to the President’s State of the Union Address on Wednesday....

Marking a major addition to its primetime scripted lineup, Syfy today announced that Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained, Ray), through his Foxxhole Productions, will executive produce, write and direct a yet to be titled five-episode horror anthology series for October 2013.
