The 33rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards took place on April 2, 2022. This year’s winner’s include HBO Max’s Hacks, Marvel Studios’ Eternals, Peacock’s Saved by the Bell revival, VH1’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, and Netflix’s Single All the Way. Special Awards also went to Kacey Musgraves received the Vanguard Award from Ben Platt, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez received the Stephen F. Kolzak Award from Andrew Garfield. GLAAD is the largest LGBTQ+ media advocacy organization....

With the Halloween holiday just around the corner, ABC’s hit sitcom The Goldbergs will be paying tribute to the iconic works of Stephen King with the new episode Stefan King, airing Wednesday, October 26 at 8 PM ET. A new trailer has been released, which reveals that this episode will parody the author’s iconic story Misery, with a twist. And, as it turns out, Stephen King himself will likely be watching, thanks to Patton Oswalt....

Phillip Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy TV series is finally coming out. BBC and HBO just released the first teaser trailer for the highly anticipated series and it looks exactly like what fans have been asking for. The first book in the trilogy was brought to the big screen in 2007’s The Golden Compass, which was seen as a pretty big disappointment because of the amount of changes that were made to the source material....

Joni Berry has to be the most generous hostess in town. She graciously underwrote dinner for hundreds of guests as the SHARE fundraiser, and even was the official costumer for the lovely ladies who danced in the show. And what a show it was! The theme was Share Jazz, and included production numbers “Way Down Under in New Orleans”, and “Let’s Misbehave”. Among the dazzling dancers were actress Susan Blakely, and Miriam Nelson and Gloria Franks (who are Founders of SHARE, and still kicking up their heels, 54 years later)!...

Hugo Weaving has proven that one more piece of the news that Michael Bay has “confirmed” about Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is false - namely that Megatron wouldn’t be appearing in the film. Actor Antonio Banderas has revealed his reaction to seeing Harrison Ford don the hat and whip as iconic adventurer Indiana Jones in the upcoming sequel Indiana Jones 5. Recently, James Cameron spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the progress of his next feature film, Avatar, currently in pre-production. The film, previously known as Project 880, follows a paraplegic war veteran from Earth who is brought to another planet inhabited by a humanoid race at odds with Earth’s citizens. The Titanic director is targeting for a summer 2008 release for the film and hopes to start shooting a cast of unknown actors on a stage in Los Angeles by February, 2007....

James Franco and Anne Hathaway will serve as co-hosts of the 83rd Academy Awards, Oscar telecast producers Bruce Cohen and Don Mischer announced today. Both have previously appeared on the telecast but not in hosting capacities. “James Franco and Anne Hathaway personify the next generation of Hollywood icons- fresh, exciting and multi-talented.
