A shiny new trailer for Pixar’s highly anticipated Lightyear gives us a much more detailed look at the beloved animation studio’s standalone Buzz Lightyear adventure. Released courtesy of Pixar’s official YouTube channel, the trailer offers a whole host of new footage, introducing Buzz’s adorable robotic-feline sidekick, a surprisingly terrifying Emperor Zurg, and offering much more of Chris Evans’ performance as the titular Space Ranger. This latest footage gives us a much better idea of what to expect from Lightyear, which finds Buzz (the real-life version rather than the familiar toy) marooned on an alien planet and attempting to get himself and the rest of his crew back to Earth....

COMEDY CENTRAL has ordered a second season of the popular animated hit show, Lil’ Bush, it was announced today by Lauren Corrao, executive vice president, original programming and development, COMEDY CENTRAL. The new season is set to premiere in spring 2008 with ten new episodes....

With the network upfront presentations that will determine the 2010-2011 TV seasons coming up, it seems two CBS shows could switch networks while an NBC fan favorite could be locked for a fourth season. Deadline TV is reporting that two CBS shows - Ghost Whisperer and The New Adventures of Old Christine - could land at ABC if they are canceled by CBS. It was said that this will be the third year in a row that ABC has offered to pick up The New Adventures of Old Christine, which stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, but now it seems the network is in a better position to pair the show up with a similar family comedy, their freshman hit series The Middle, which stars Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn, since both series’ are similar family comedies....

Producer of the hit 2017 comedy Girls Trip just made it official that the movie is finally getting a sequel. While on Good Morning America discussing the upcoming 2022 Oscars which he is set to produce, Will Packer announced that the sequel is “underway.” The film stars Hollywood’s favorite ladies, Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Tiffany Haddish. “Can’t we all use a post-pandemic trip, my friend? I think that the time is actually right, and this is something that I will tell you and break right now at GMA: the Girls Trip 2 sequel, we are underway,” Packer told host Michael Strahan during the broadcast....

Harry Potter has grown to be legendary. The series, which consists of eight fantasy movies, is based on J. K. Rowling’s books of the same name. It’s confirmed. HBO Max’s Hacks, everyone’s favorite exploration of generational joke-writing and the ever-evolving entertainment industry, has been renewed for a third season. Former Jackass star Bam Margera was arrested over the weekend for allegedly driving under the influent. Though the 38-year-old professional skateboarder has had a history with alcohol, this is his first DUI arrest. Margera has been released on bail, which was reportedly set at $15,000. Apparently, Margera made the arrest rather easy on officers, who weren’t even planning on pulling him over in the first place. Reportedly, Bam Margera was driving past several California Highway Patrol officers at around 8 a....

Jared Leto has teased an exciting future for his antihero Marvel character, Morbius, with the actor hinting at not only his involvement in the wide-reaching multiverse but also his potential membership of the iconic supervillain team, The Sinister Six. Leto discussed his role in Morbius during Brazil CCXP 2021, dropping several hints regarding the official opening on the multiverse, and even mentioning upcoming MCU sequel Spider-Man: No Way Home: Leto’s use of the word “sinister” is likely no accident, with Sony having wanted to spawn a Sinister Six movie for some time....

The continued success of Top Gun: Maverick at the box office has raised the question of further movies in the franchise being considered. While the phenomenal success of the belated sequel to the 1986 movie has certainly reignited interest in the Tom Cruise-led film, would the nostalgia that helped the sequel become a success continue to carry over into a third movie.
