According to Variety, Gore Verbinski is not going to be taking the voyage in the next Pirates of the Caribbean films. The director recently told Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer that he will not be making the fourth installment that will begin production in 2010. Johnny Depp is returning as Captain Jack Sparrow. The current sequel is in development but has not yet obtained a greenlight. Verbinski will instead work on Bioshock for Universal and Rango for Paramount Pictures....
