Lifelong comedian Kenan Thompson will soon have his name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Via NY Daily News, Thompson is set to officially receive his star in a live ceremony on Aug. 11, 2022. His star will be placed on Hollywood Boulevard right next to that of Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels, which is fitting as Thompson is the longest-running performer in the sketch comedy show’s history. In a statement, Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said, “Kenan Thompson is the voice of a generation....

Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman are reflecting the “love” in Thor: Love and Thunder in the latest images from filming on the MCU sequel. Showing the ex-couple on a romantic stroll, holding hands and laughing their woes away, Hemsworth’s Thor and Portman’s Jane Foster once again look as they did way back when in previous Marvel installment Thor: The Dark World, suggesting that this is a further glimpse into a flashback sequence....

A recent judging panel shakeup will see Leah Remini join the FOX dancing competition series So You Think You Can Dance. Per Variety, Remini officially joins the series as a talent judge after Matthew Morrison recently exited for violating competition production protocols. She will serve as a judge alongside Stephen “tWitch” Boss and JoJo Siwa, both of whom joined the series at the start of the season with Morrison. Remini will also just so happen to make her debut on the show’s 300th episode on June 15....

It looks like Josie Saltzman has left Mystic Falls for good. After her character said farewell on the show, it was announced that Kaylee Bryant is leaving Legacies after four seasons. Bryant has been playing Josie since October 2018, but the episode that aired on Dec. 16 will mark her final appearance. “As a fan of The Vampire Diaries universe myself, thank you to The CW and Warner Bros. TV for giving me this opportunity,” Bryant said in a statement, per TVLine....

Giancarlo Esposito has opened up about his recent meeting with Marvel Studios. The actor has revealed that he is in touch with the studio and wants to play Charles Xavier/Professor X in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fiore Films, an independent production company, today announced that it has expanded its relationship with producer Ted Field and his companies Radar Pictures and Compelling Entertainment to co-produce and develop a reality television series based on the lives of John Gotti’s three grandchildren who were featured in the hit A&E series Growing Up Gotti. Wayne Page, head of Compelling Entertainment, would also be a co-producer. John Agnello, Carmine Agnello Jr. and Frank Agnello, the three sons of Victoria Gotti and Carmine Agnello and grandsons of John Gotti, were first introduced to the public in the hit A&E reality television series Growing Up Gotti....

Production on Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies has officially begun in Vancouver as the full cast of the Grease prequel series has been released. Per Deadline, the Paramount+ series takes place in 1954, four years before the original Grease, and “before rock ‘n’ roll ruled and before the T-Birds were the coolest in the school. It follows four fed-up outcasts who dare to have fun on their own terms, sparking a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever....

NBC will search for the next Sandy Dumbrowski and Danny Zuko in You’re the One That We Want, a new talent competition series from BBC Worldwide Productions, for mid-season where America will ultimately get to choose the two leads for a new Broadway production of Grease. Following the success of other video game adaptations, Horizon Zero Dawn is next in line for the treatment. According to Variety, Sony Pictures Entertainment CEO Tony Vinciquerra made the big announcement in an investor briefing. Aloy’s story will be brought to the Netflix streaming service!
