According to Crime Spree Cinema, Jason Statham has joined the film adaptation of author Ken Bruen’s popular novel Blitz. He will be playing Brant, a crude, un-PC, borderline sociopath cop. Paddy Considine has joined the film as well, playing Sergeant Porter Nash, an openly gay cop that must work with the homophobic Brant. Former iCarly star Jennette McCurdy has opened up about her experience starring in two Nickelodeon shows and the treatment she endured from their creator behind the scenes. A former child star who co-starred with Miranda Cosgrove on iCarly before leading the spinoff series Sam & Cat alongside Ariana Grande, McCurdy has since stepped back from acting, refusing to reprise her role from those shows in the new iCarly reboot on Paramount+....

The breath-taking actor that is Keanu Reeves has teased the skill involved in the opening sequence of his upcoming action sequel, John Wick: Chapter 4, with the actor revealing that the unstoppable assassin will once again ride a horse. USA Network announced today the casting of Joshua Malina (The West Wing, Numb3rs) as a new key character in the hit original series and #1 new show of the summer, In Plain Sight. Malina joins newly announced recurring cast member Holly Maples (The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm). The show is currently in production on its second season with all 16 episodes being shot entirely on location in and around Albuquerque, New Mexico....

FX has cast Sam Elliott and Garret Dillahunt in recurring roles on its critically-acclaimed, award-winning drama series Justified, which enters its final season January 2015. Sam Elliott will portray “Markham,” a legendary Kentucky gangster who returns from exile with a private army and bags of cash (earned growing legal weed in Colorado), hell-bent on winning back his empire and the lost love of his life, Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen). He’ll find himself butting heads with Raylan and Boyd and even with Katherine herself, who secretly believes that Markham is the rat who brought down her husband....

Even the biggest stars have moments when they get starstruck, and Keanu Reeves is arguably one of the biggest and most popular stars working in Hollywood today and it seems that he has only ever felt the need to approach other stars for autographs on two occasions. Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Reeves revealed that there are only two celebrities that he has asked for an autograph, one being the Velvet Underground’s Lou Reed and the other being his Bill &Ted co-star George Carlin....

Back in January, Fox confirmed that the network has given the green light for a new installment of their iconic series 24, entitled 24: Legacy. While many of the producers from the original 24 series are coming back, such as Howard Gordon, the show will feature an entirely new cast, without original 24 star Kiefer Sutherland as Jack Bauer. The producers have hinted that Kiefer Sutherland may be open to returning in a much smaller role, perhaps a cameo, and it seems that may still happen....

In the hit comedy series, Smith played Red Forman, husband to Debra Jo Rupp’s Kitty and father of Topher Grace’s Eric. All three have reprised their roles for That ’90s Show, a follow-up series that recently premiered on Netflix. A few months ago, I was among some selected press members to be invited up to the Van Nuys facility KNB EFX, an Oscar-winning special makeup effects, animatronics and prosthetics shop that has stood out as one of the best in the biz since its creation 20 years ago by SFX gurus Gregory Nicotero and Howard Berger. The Scary Movie franchise is a series of five parody movies centered on the horror genre. The franchise re-invented the horror-comedy as we knew it at the time. Rather than combining a horror movie and adding comedic elements, the franchise took an all-out spoof approach, throwing non-stop jokes throughout the film. The script was innovative and refreshed the spoof film genre in general; it was crass and funny and nowhere near politically correct — and audiences loved it....

Lucasfilm has moved on from the sequel era to focus on their Star Wars series on Disney+. Before the series hit Disney+, however, audiences got to see Star Wars anthology films in theaters: Solo and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. These two films became Lucasfilm’s first venture into live-action Star Wars storytelling outside the main episodes. They helped pave the way for the Disney+ series, proving that Star Wars films do not always need to tell the story of the Skywalkers, Jedi, and the Sith....

Netflix has announced that the upcoming 6th Season of its landmark original content series House of Cards will be its last. The show is currently filming the final season, which began before it was even announced that the streaming company was going to make new epsiode. Though the decision was reportedly confirmed over the summer, the news comes at a particularly bad time for House of Cards star Kevin Spacey. Spacey has been accused of unwanted sexual advances towards a minor by Star Trek: Discovery star Anthony Rapp, which has now coincided with the end of House of Cards....

House of the Dragon is an upcoming fantasy drama TV series created by George R.R. Martin and Ryan J. Condal for HBO. The Game of Thrones prequel is based on Martin’s acclaimed 2018 novel Fire and Blood.
