NBC has announced that they will be reuniting two of the most popular members of the NYPD in TV history with a crossover event. Law & Order: Organized Crime, which brings back Christopher Meloni as Elliot Stabler, will premiere with a 2-hour crossover event alongside the long-running SVU. The two-hour television event is set for Thursday, April 1st. Law & Order: SVU (9 PM) and Law & Order: Organized Crime (10 PM) will finally bring back together Olivia Benson and Stabler, played by Mariska Hargitay and Meloni, respectively....

Lifetime turns up the heat on the bad guys this summer with the premiere of the new drama series Angela’s Eyes, about a tough, young, instinctive FBI agent with the keen ability to expose liars, making her a key asset to the force in solving even its most difficult cases. Abigail Spencer (All My Children) stars as Angela Henson alongside Lyriq Bent (Kojak) as Angela’s hard-nosed partner Leo, Joe Cobden (The Aviator) as tech genius Dozer and Rick Roberts (Kevin Hill) as Gene, Angela’s boss and mentor....

Opening on February 11th, is a new CGI animated film from Touchstone Pictures called Gnomeo and Juliet. The film is based on William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and features the music of Grammy Award winner Elton John. The film features the voice talents of James McAvoy (Wanted), Emily Blunt (Charlie Wilson’s War), Jason Statham (The Expendables), and two-time Academy Award winners Michael Caine (The Dark Knight) and Maggie Smith (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince)....

Another TV classic from the 1980s is getting a TV reboot, but this particular project will have a unique gender twist. ABC has issued a put pilot commitment for a reboot of The Greatest American Hero, which will have a female lead character in a gender-swapping twist. The new hero will not only be a woman, but an Indian-American woman, with the show coming from the company that produces the hit ABC sitcom Fresh Off the Boat....

Guy Fieri is the undisputed king of Food Network, and he isn’t going anywhere. Last month, it was reported that Fieri had signed a lucrative new deal with the network to keep him in place for the next three years. The terms of the deal weren’t revealed at the time, but a followup report from Forbes reveals that the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives host will be paid $80 million over three years, up $50 million from his last agreement with the network....

The live-action Halo series officially has a release date. Hours ahead of the release of a new trailer for the series, the official Halo account tweeted a video ad promoting the full trailer’s launch. While including some snippets of the show, a narrator also announces in the video that Halo will premiere on Paramount+ on March 24, 2022. You can watch the official announcement below. You can bring home Kenneth Branagh’s critically acclaimed 1996 version of William Shakespeare’s classic play on Blu-ray this August. Hamlet (1996) will finally make its Blu-ray debut on August 17. Interview with the Vampire was a 1976 novel published by Anne Rice as her debut novel. The story centers on vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac, who tells the tale of his life to a reporter. The novel was a huge hit with readers and launched a long-running franchise titled The Vampire Chronicles. The mysterious vampire Lestat de Lioncourt became a breakout character and eventual star of the series. In 1994, Interview with the Vampire was adapted into a feature film starring Brad Pitt as Louis and Tom Cruise as Lestat....

Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk’s creation, American Horror Story, has disturbed and scared viewers for over ten years. From the weird musical performances at a ‘Freak Show’ to a city where people are turning into vampires, various things have traumatized fans of the show. The eleventh season of AHS should come out this year, and there is much speculation regarding where the showrunners will lead the fans next. This is not exactly the most shocking news, but the next Hellraiser movie has gotten an R rating. The film, which will be made available for streaming on Hulu sometime later this year, has been officially rated R for “strong bloody horror violence and gore, language throughout, some sexual content, and brief graphic nudity.” Hellraiser fans might have mixed thoughts about this reboot, as because there have been ten previous movies, many fans may feel that a new installment won’t add anything to the franchise....

Now, an update has arrived on the progress of the upcoming two seasons, courtesy of Black Samson voice actor Khary Payton. In an interview with The Movie Dweeb on YouTube, Payton spoke about how he’s currently still working on new episodes of the show. The actor also touched on reuniting with Kirkman for the project, offering some praise for the Walking Dead creator. Jared Leto has spent some time in the comic book movie world, both with Marvel and DC, but it’s currently unclear if we’ll ever see him back in either of those roles. He notably appeared as the Joker in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, which was originally intended to spawn a spinoff movie focusing on Leto’s Joker and Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn. Seemingly, those plans were scrapped when Suicide Squad was met with negative reviews and failed to meet box office expectations....
