This month, horror fans will be met with the release of Halloween Ends, the latest installment of the Halloween movie series. Back in 1978, the franchise kicked off with John Carpenter’s original film which introduced Jamie Lee Curtis as final girl Laurie Strode. Throughout the movie series, Curtis has popped back up as Laurie at different points, but the marketing for Halloween Ends strongly implies that her run in the role finally comes to an end with this new movie....

There are many Johnny Depp fans who aren’t giving up just yet on the idea of seeing him back as Captain Jack Sparrow. As of now, Depp is in the midst of a defamation trial after suing ex-wife Amber Heard for $50 million, arguing that she’d fabricated abuse claims that had gotten him fired by Disney from the Pirates of the Caribbean series. According to Depp, there had been some talks with Disney about Pirates of the Caribbean 6, but those talks stopped when Heard wrote an op-ed in 2018 describing herself as a survivor of domestic abuse....

The Man of Steel will be facing his biggest foe in the third season of Superman & Lois, but don’t get your hopes up on seeing Jon Cryer reprising the role. Previously, Cryer made a splash in the Arrowverse with his take on Lex Luthor in the Supergirl series. Though the character had been written off, he was later resurrected for the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, appearing in other Arrowverse shows like Batwoman, Arrow, and The Flash....

We can expect for the new Fatal Attraction series to be more disturbing than its source material. Previously, it was reported that Joshua Jackson (Peacock’s Dr. Death) and Lizzy Caplan (Hulu’s Castle Rock) would be co-starring in a Fatal Attraction series in the works at Paramount+. The two will be taking on roles similar to that of Michael Douglas and Glenn Close in the 1987 thriller of the same name which followed a married man who has a weekend affair with a woman who becomes dangerously obsessed with him....

Fans of the short-lived Netflix series Julie and the Phantoms have not yet thrown in the towel on getting the show renewed. International superstar and Miami resident GLORIA ESTEFAN will introduce CIRQUE DU SOLEIL’S pregame show at Super Bowl XLI on CBS at Dolphin Stadium in South Florida on Sunday, February 4, the NFL announced today. Estefan is a five-time Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter who has performed at Super Bowl XXVI and Super Bowl XXXIII halftime shows, held in Minneapolis and Miami respectively. She is currently writing and recording a new album to be released later this year and is a New York Times best-selling author of two children’s books....

The heavenly and hellish duo are coming ever closer to your television. Just in time for, well, pick your apocalypse, comes the return of Good Omens for its second season. Series director Douglas Mackinnon, as well as certain cast and crew members like Michael Sheen and Maggie Service, have been announcing on their Twitter accounts that the season has wrapped filming! Based on the book by both Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, Good Omens follows the tangled story of Aziraphale the angel and Crowley the demon as they try to prevent the newly born antichrist from bringing the end of the world....

ABC is moving full steam ahead on their upcoming Grey’s Anatomy Spin-Off. They haven’t yet titled the series, but we do know that it is going to center on firefighters and that Jaina Lee Ortiz is going to be the female lead. Now, it has been confirmed that Jason George, who has been a series regular on Grey’s Anatomy since season 12 and first appeared on the show in season 6, is going to star in this firefighter spin-off....

HBO has taken their marketing to the next level for Game of Thrones Season 8. The network went ahead and hid six actual Iron Thrones replicas around the world and teased their locations on social media. The first tease started last week, and so far, five out of the six have been located by fans who have followed the clues. HBO has yet to comment on the matter, but they probably underestimated hardcore Game of Thrones fans....

Gremlins is getting animated with the upcoming series Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. Bringing back Gizmo for an all-new story set in the Gremlins universe, the animated series will premiere on HBO Max in 2022. Recently, the streamer released a preview video hyping all of the titles coming to the streaming service next year.
