Margot Robbie brought her version of Harley Quinn to the big screen for a third time in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and fans can now check out a new behind the scenes video of the original choreographed fight for Harley’s escape scene in the movie. Gunn has always been happy to share behind the scenes information on his social media accounts, and even now with the movie having been released earlier this year, having streamed on HBO Max and on home media, he is still giving fans a look at what went into making the movie....

Writer/Producer/Director James Wan has closed an eight picture deal with Icon Entertainment International (IEI), it was announced today by Wan and Hugo Grumbar, Managing Director (International) for Icon, at the Berlin Film Festival. Wan, who is best known for creating and directing the first in the Saw franchise of films which have gone on to gross over $850,000,000 worldwide, will produce two horror films a year under the agreement with Icon....

Actor Jeremy Renner has just added another project to his burgeoning slate, signing on to star in King of Heists for Black Bear Pictures. Will Staples wrote the adapted screenplay from J. North Conway’s book of the same name. Jeremy Renner will portray George Leslie, a mild-mannered gentleman who quietly assembled a crew and pulled off a $3 million heist from the Manhattan Savings Institution in 1878. Jeremy Renner will also produce King of Heists alongside Don Handfield....

Jimmy Hayward (director of the animated Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who) has signed on to direct the Warner Bros. western Jonah Hex, based on the DC Comics character, which marks his live-action debut. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Josh Brolin is attached to star in the film, which previously had Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (Crank) on board as directors. The duo, who also wrote the script, bowed out over creative differences in November....

As part of their ‘My Favorite Scene!’ series, IndieWire asked Jung Ho-yeon what her favorite scene of Squid Game was. The Emmy-nominated actress said it was the scene where her character, Sae-byeok, visits her younger brother Cheol (Si-wan Park) and their family escaped from North Korea, but she needs money to bring them back into the country. However, after they finished filming that day, director Hwang Dong-hyuk gave Jung a thumbs up, which he also did after they shot the stepping glass scene in episode eight....

Last week, The CW’s hit superhero show The Flash finally returned from its holiday mid-season hiatus with the new episode ‘Borrowing Problems From the Future.’ As fans get ready for this week’s episode, ‘Dead Or Alive,’ airing Tuesday, January 31 at 8 PM ET, a new poster has been uncovered, which features Grant Gustin and Keiynan Lonsdale, who are both suited up as The Flash and Kid Flash. Knives Out 2 Is completely scrambling people’s brains by revealing a new and unexpected title and a release window. Announced in a new video, the sequel to the Daniel Craig hit will now be called Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery and will arrive on Netflix during the holiday season. While plenty expected the movie to have the simple title of a general sequel, it seems that Rian Johnson had a different idea for the franchise, as he explained in a post on Twitter....

Award-winning actor, director, and educator LeVar Burton is joining the Scripps National Spelling Bee, Variety reports. Burton, known for his work in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Reading Rainbow, will host the competition’s televised semifinal and final rounds. The event began Tuesday with preliminary rounds; this year’s Bee hosts 234 young spellers from around the world competing for a grand prize of $50,000. Although participants can’t be older than fourteen per the official eligibility rules, the National Spelling Bee is anything but child’s play—past winning words include “aiguillette” (a braided shoulder ornament on some military uniforms) and “stichomythia” (alternating dialogue used as a stylistic device in ancient Greek drama)....

Director George Nolfi talks The Adjustment Bureau, showing a different side to New York City, making this Philip K. Dick story his directorial debut, and more. Like most screenwriters, George Nolfi had always wanted to direct. He wrote four movies - Timeline, Ocean’s Twelve, The Sentinel, and The Bourne Ultimatum - before getting his shot at the helm. Unlike most directors, George Nolfi landed an extremely ambitious project for his directing debut in The Adjustment Bureau, which will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on June 21....

The Good The Bad The “Gilmore Girls” is one of those shows that just works. The biggest reason for this in my opinion (other than the fact that the casting is basically flawless) is the writing. Listening to Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) banter back and forth is something I could do all day. I also like how these witticisms carry over to the other characters on the show, yet nothing ever feels familiar....

Gore Verbinski’s Bioshock has been put on indefinite hold until Universal Pictures can figure out a way to get it made at a more reasonable budget. According to Variety, the cost of the film rose above $160 million, and because of that Universal was forced to shut down production on the live-action adaptation of the popular video game and lay off some of the production staff. The film was gearing up to shoot in Los Angeles soon, but now Verbinski and Universal are looking at alternatives, like shooting in London, as a way to bring down the costs of the high profile project....

Brett Ratner has entered into negotiations to direct Hercules: The Thracian Wars for MGM and Spyglass Entertainment. Last July we reported that Brett Ratner was in talks to direct a different Hercules project for producer Avi Lerner, although that project fell through. Hercules: The Thracian Wars was previously set up at Universal Pictures, with Peter Berg attached to direct. Now that Spyglass is essentially running MGM, the project will be produced through that studio....

“Look for the mushroom cloud…” Chapter 17 of Heroes, entitled “Company Man,” is a Bennet-centric episode that tells two stories that are closely related. We start off with radioactive Ted Sprague and the telepathic policeman Matt Parkman breaking into the Bennet’s home in Odessa, Texas. Ted uses his ability to melt through the lock while Matt takes a look around the house, checking HRG’s computer and files. While ransacking the place, the Bennet’s arrive fresh from a stay at the hospital after last episode’s frantic emergency....
