Following the release of Avatar in 2009, audiences have been patiently waiting for the sequels, which were initially announced in 2010. At the time, Cameron aimed for a 2014 release date, however, the addition of three more sequels and the need for newer technology led to significant delays. Nevertheless, the idea for a multi-film story was always the plan for the director, who didn’t want to release sequel after sequel with no end in sight....

For fans of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, it seemed earlier this week that a chance had arisen to become part of the MCU with a role in James Gunn’s final Guardians movie. However, the Guardians of the Galaxy director has taken to his Twitter account to warn anyone seeing the recent casting call that it is all a scam, as filming has already completed on the Marvel movie. Gunn not only called the ad “bullsh-t” but also shared a screenshot of the fake agency to make people aware of what to watch out for....

Halloween Ends may not have been a critical hit, but even if fans are debating the quality of her final film as Laurie Strode, Jamie Lee Curtis is nevertheless eternally grateful to have had a 44-year run playing the character. Universal Pictures has just dropped the official trailer for Jurassic World Dominion. Kiele Sanchez is set to star in ABC’s drama pilot, Football Wives. The primetime soap is about the wives of professional football players, notes The Hollywood Reporter; Bryan Singer will direct the pilot. Sanchez will play the pregnant wife of a rising football star, a good-natured woman with a secret. Julianna Margulies will star as the lead in Fox’s drama pilot, Canterbury’s Law from Sony Pictures TV and Denis Leary’s Apostle....

Ever since Tom Hiddleston’s Loki found the Tesseract at his feet in Avengers: Endgame, the retcon of his death in Avengers: Infinity War was set in motion. In the Disney+ series Loki, the God of Mischief was seen back to his best, dealing with variants of himself and ultimately setting in motion some pretty big ripples in the multiverse. While it has been confirmed that Hiddleston will be returning for a second season of Loki, Peter Lontzek, who provides the German voiceover for Loki’s Marvel appearances, has revealed that he is working on a new Marvel movie, which suggests that Loki could be a long way from being done in the MCU and could be reunited with his brother Thor somewhere down the Marvel timeline....

Hulu is preparing for the imminent release of Darby and the Dead, arriving on the streaming service this December. The film stars Riele Downs, known for her time on the popular Nickelodeon series Henry Danger, which ran for five seasons from 2014 to 2018. Darby and the Dead will follow Downs’s titular character, as she’s granted the ability to see ghosts after suffering a near-death experience, leading to her side business counseling local spirits....

Back in late December, Girl Meets World actor Rider Strong, who reprised his Boy Meets World role of Shawn, revealed the Disney XD spin-off was cancelled, although reports surfaced that the show’s creator Michael Jacobs was trying to pitch the show to different networks for Season 4. We haven’t heard any updates since Netflix passed on Girl Meets World earlier in the year. But today, series creator Michael Jacobs announced that the show will not return on a different network or streaming service for new episodes....

Fox has ordered two more seasons of the genre-defying musical sensation Glee, it was announced today by Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company, who made the following statement. When Good Omens brought the much loved Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett novel to life, many fans believed that it was going to be a limited series.
